The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Salah Ahmed Jama, today inaugurated the newly renovated and expanded Women’s Mental Health Unit at Laan-Saleeti Hospital following extensive rehabilitation and modernization works.
The Deputy Prime Minister stated that the DanQaran Government places special priority on improving public services, particularly healthcare, to ensure Somali citizens have access to quality, modern, and equitable health services.
H.E. Salah Ahmed Jama commended the Government of Italy for its support in implementing the project, noting that the Federal Government will continue rebuilding health facilities across the country to strengthen the delivery of essential healthcare services.
The Government remains committed to accelerating improvements in public services to provide Somali citizens with more advanced and effective healthcare and other essential services.
