Trump and Xi have arrived at the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, a 600-year-old UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The temple was originally built in 1420 towards the end of the Ming Dynasty and was used for imperial sacrifices and to pray for a good harvest, according to UNESCO.
The temple is a contemporary of the Forbidden City, which Trump visited during his last state visit in 2017.
