The Commander of the Somali National Army’s Land Forces, Brig. Gen. Sahal Abdullahi Omar, who is on official duties in Baidoa, the interim capital of Southwest State, conducted an inspection visit to frontline positions of the Somali National Army.
The commander and accompanying officers assessed the overall security and living conditions in the city, as well as the situation of the troops and their positions.
The Commander of the SNA 60th Division, Col. Isxaaq Adan “Isxaaq Berdaale,” briefed the Land Forces Commander on the security situation, recent military operations and battles, and the gains made against enemy groups.
Brig. Gen. Sahal Abdullahi Omar congratulated the troops on their achievements and commended their continued vigilance against enemy movements and their commitment to defending the civilians they have sworn to serve.
