The Director General of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency, Mr. Ahmed Saeed Mohamed, welcomed the Norwegian Ambassador to Somalia, Ambassador Carsten Carlsen, and the Immigration Consul of the Norwegian Embassy, Mrs. Catherine Fari, to his office.
During the meeting, Mr. Mohamed expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Norwegian government for its support in developing the infrastructure of the Immigration and Nationality Agency. He highlighted the recent progress and outlined future plans aimed at further enhancing the agency’s capabilities.
Ambassador Carlsen, in his remarks, extended his appreciation for the warm reception and reaffirmed Norway’s commitment to Somalia. He pledged to double the support provided by the Norwegian government to the Immigration and Nationality Agency, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the positive cooperation between the two nations.
