The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh, chaired a high-level security coordination meeting at the Somali Police Force Headquarters to discuss preparations for the upcoming national Independence Day celebrations.
The meeting focused on security arrangements for events marking June 26 and July 1, which commemorate the historic days of independence and unity in Somalia. Discussions also covered pre-celebration activities and public gatherings planned ahead of the national holidays.
Attendees included ministers who are members of the National Organizing Committee for the Independence and Unity Days, along with senior officials from the Somali Police Force, National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), and the Somali National Army (SNA).
The coordination efforts aim to ensure a peaceful and secure environment during the national celebrations across the country.
