The non-resident Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to the Republic of Poland, H.E. Abdiasis Mohamud Mohamed ‘Farabadane,’ presented his Letters of Credence to H.E. Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland, on Wednesday, July 2, during an official ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw.
Ambassador Abdiasis Farabadane conveyed warm greetings and a message of goodwill from H.E. Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, to the government and people of Poland. He expressed Somalia’s commitment to strengthening friendly relations and expanding cooperation in political, trade, education, development, and international affairs.
President Duda welcomed the Ambassador and acknowledged the importance of strengthening bilateral ties between Poland and Somalia.
Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening ties and agreed to pursue joint initiatives that serve the mutual interests of both nations.
Diplomatic relations between Somalia and Poland were formally established on July 11, 1962. The two countries remain committed to advancing their cooperation through continuous engagement and reinforced partnerships.
