Saudi Arabia condemned “in the strongest terms” the Israeli ground operation in Gaza City, the Kingdom’s foreign ministry said on Wednesday.
The ministry denounced the “incursions of the Israeli occupation forces into the Gaza Strip, and their continued commission of crimes” against the Palestinians, and highlighted the international community’s failure to take “effective measures” to stop the ongoing war in Gaza.
Saudi Arabia also urged members of the UN Security Council to take immediate action to halt what it described as Israel’s killing, starvation and forced displacement of Palestinians, the foreign ministry said its statement.
