The President of the South West State of Somalia, H.E. Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen, chaired a meeting of Directors General from South West State ministries, held at the Presidential Palace in Baidoa.
The meeting focused on accelerating ministerial work plans, strengthening coordination among government institutions, addressing the impact of drought, and implementing development priorities with a particular emphasis on social services.
Participants also discussed existing challenges and explored sustainable solutions aimed at improving effective and accountable governance. President Laftagareen commended the Directors General for their efforts and urged them to further enhance transparency, accountability, and public service delivery.
The President emphasized the need to fast-track the implementation of government policies and development programs, underscoring the importance of continuous cooperation, strong leadership, and responsibility to ensure sustainable development and the provision of quality services to the people of South West State.
