The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Ali Yusuf Hosh, today chaired a high-level meeting of the Strategic Resilient State-building Program (SRSP) Project Board, bringing together senior representatives from the Office of the Prime Minister, Federal Member State Ministries of Interior, the Banaadir Regional Administration, the UNDP, international partners, and civil society organizations.
The meeting reviewed progress made under the SRSP framework and focused on strengthening coordination to advance Somalia’s state-building, stabilization, and reconciliation priorities. Discussions emphasized policy alignment, improved accountability, and effective use of international support to reinforce national institutions and enhance service delivery.
Addressing the forum, Minister Ali Yusuf Hosh underscored the importance of the SRSP Project Board as a strategic platform for translating shared commitments into tangible outcomes for citizens, reaffirming the government’s resolve to work closely with partners to build resilient institutions and promote inclusive governance across the country.
During the SRSP Project Board meeting, the Director General of the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, Mr. Abdulkadir Ali , highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration and coordination across federal and state institutions to enhance their capacity and ensure efficient, citizen-centered service delivery.
He further emphasized that the SRSP must fully align with the 2026 national priorities to produce sustainable and visible results.
The SRSP Project Board meeting concluded by outlining the way forward for 2026, emphasizing the delivery of visible and sustainable results.
The meeting also reinforced the need for coordinated efforts across all implementing institutions to ensure effective, accountable, and citizen-centered public service delivery.
