The Governor of Banadir Region who doubles to be the Mayor of Mogadishu, Yusuf Hussein Jim’ale Madale, chaired the weekly meeting of the districts in Banadir Region, which focused on the development of education and the acceleration of the campaign on the fight against Al-Shabab fighters which aims mothers to spearhead the fight against Al-Shabab which is supported by the military.
Yusuf Hussein Jimale Madale invited the Minister of Education, Heritage and Higher Education of the Federal Government of Somalia Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir to this meeting and enquired about the Ministry’s plan for the development of Education in Banadir Region.
Madale, on his part submitted the cooperation plan between the Banadir Regional Government and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Higher Education of the Federal Government of Somalia to improve the quality of education for learners and educational facilities in the capital.
The meeting also focused the plan to support the federal government forces on the pan to accelerate operations against Al-Shabab fighters by supporting the campaign through the use of mothers to spearhead the plan and campaign on the operations.
The forum was to welcome the Mayor of Bolnas in Sweden, Abdullahi Adani who on his part praised the work to promote security, politics, economy, education and other critical sectors needed by the residents living in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu
