Minister of Fiqi: Somalia’s position is one, and it does not accept it.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somalia, Ahmed Macallin Fiqi, who led the delegation of Somalia to the talks held in Ankara between Ethiopia, said that the second round of negotiations has ended.

The minister said in a message that the second round of talks between Somalia and Ethiopia has ended

“Thank you very much to our brothers in Turkey who made a great effort, and the 3rd floor was arranged in their country. Somalia’s position is one that does not accept “take it if you don’t,” said Minister Fiqi in his statement.

On the other hand, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Somalia, Ali Balad, also said in a message that they are grateful to the Turkish Government for hosting and mediating the Ankara II talks.

“We have made significant progress towards overcoming the challenges arising from the illegal accord in Ethiopia. Although no final agreement has been reached, we are optimistic about the next third round”. said Minister Ali Balad.

It seems that the second round of talks between Somalia and Ethiopia in Turkey has ended without results.
