President Ahmed Abdi Kariye Qorqor of Galmudug has emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and avoiding conflict as the state prepares for its upcoming elections. In a recent address, President Qorqor highlighted the administration’s readiness for a transparent electoral process and urged politicians to adhere to a code of conduct that prioritizes national security and stability.
Speaking at an event held at the Galmudug Presidential Palace, President Qorqor underscored the need for a peaceful and orderly election. “We are holding one person, one vote elections, and we must avoid any actions that could lead to conflict or violence,” he stated. He encouraged candidates to focus their campaigns on their qualifications and plans rather than resorting to tactics that could destabilize the region.
